We’ve curated an exciting set of challenges with distances designed to test your endurance and celebrate your achievements. Log your swims on our website to earn and share digital swim badges designed by local artist Dave Pop Art.

Complete one or all of the five challenges between 1 November 2024 and 28 February 2025:

5 Pier Challenge – 5K (100 lengths)
Windfarm to Brighton – 15K (299 lengths)
Dover to Calais – 33K (656 lengths)
London to Brighton – 85K (1722 lengths)
The South Coast Swim (Dover to Penzance) – 643K (12,800 lengths)

The challenge is free and open to all swimmers from dippers and heads up breast strokers to open water enthusiasts and triathletes. At the end of the challenge, you will also have the option to buy physical versions of the swim badges to commemorate your accomplishment. You’re going to want to see these badges so get swimming.

L = Lengths, M = Meters, KM = Kilometres

6 L = 300 M
10 L = 500 M
20 L = 1000 M / 1KM
30 L = 1500 M / 1.5KM
40 L – 2000 M / 2KM
50 L – 2500 M / 2.5KM
60 L – 3000 M / 3KM
80 L – 4000 M / 4KM
100 L – 5000 M / 5KM
